Kátya Tompos, a young Hungarian actress gave her film debut in Valami Amerika 2 where she first showed her singing talent. One of her famous songs is Magányos csónak. Later, in 2013 she appeared as Réka in the musical István, a Király in Budapest and Szeged with great success. In 2013 her first solo CD recording was published with the title Keresztül Európán (Through Europe). In 2017 her second CD was published with the title Holdjárat, where Kátya herself wrote the texts. Her repertoire includes pieces from jazz till pop. She was awarded the prestigious Jászai Mari Prize.
