Dorina Fanni Kokics

Dorina Fanni Kokics was born in 1999 at Budapest. Her musical talent and excellent hearing were already found in childhood, when she learned to play blockflute of her brother’s teacher after hearing. These were her first steps in her musical studies, and after that she has changed to clarinet also at Fischer Annie Music School, her first clarinet teacher was Ágnes Zentainé Valkai. After her successful admission she continued her studies at Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music, where Endre Gyulai, László Mayer and Gábor Devich were her professors. During this time she won many prizes at national and international clarinet compatitions, and also she got György Cziffra Youth Talent Award in 2017. She had many chances to play in symphonic orchestra as a member and a soloist too. After her high school studies, she was admitted at Debrecen Unisversity Faculty of Music, where she already does her 2nd grade. Her studies were always major priority in her life. Professional development is important to her, so she often participate in masterclasses, and national tours.
