One of the mission of the György Cziffra Festival, founded by pianist János Balázs, is the support of the young artists. The XIII. district of Budapest government has also joined in the project and provides support, among other things, with the realization of the Memorial Concert, on the anniversary of György Cziffra’s birthday. Horti Lilla Junior Príma Prize-winning singer performs Liszt and Puccini songs at the concert with the participation of Emese Virág Liszt Prize-winning pianist. Gergely Devich’s chellist performs Chopin’s g-moll cello-piano Sonata and Rahmanyinov’s Vocalise. with the participation of Maria László Kovalszki, piano artist.
