Volodos this time picked from the really lyrical pieces of the German romantic repertoire. One of Schumann’s first works\, Papillons (1829-1832) was composed almost in the same year as the Sonata in A major\, which is one of the last pieces by Schubert\, created in 1828\, the year of his death – these two pieces will precede and follow Brahms’s Piano Pieces Op. 76 written about forty years later. \nProgramme\nR.
